Chive Basil Cream Cheese
- 1 block of cream cheese
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 3 basil leaves chopped
- 1 tbsp chive roughly chopped & lightly packed
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp pepper & pinch of salt
The Ultimate Veggie Sandwich
- 6 Ciabatta Rolls
- 2-3 red peppers
- 3 large slicer tomatoes
- 1 large cucumber
- 1/3 cup sliced red onion
- Mixed Greens
- Sprouts
- 4 slices of Havarti Cheese
- 1 large avocado
The Ultimate Healthy Veggie Sandwich
Spread a generous layer of the Chive Basil Cream Cheese (see recipe below) on each slice of the ciabatta bread
On the bottom slice of ciabatta bread place the thinly sliced tomatoes and sprinkle with salt
Cucumbers come next
Slice of Havarti cheese
Thinly sliced red peppers
Then get started on the top ciabatta bun, place thinly sliced red onion on the top half cream cheese, then the avocado slices.
Place the lettuce & sprouts over the red peppers and then sandwich the top ciabatta bread on top. Press down a bit and then stick a tooth pick in the middle and you are good to go!
