Easy Banana Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp + 1 tsp oat flour
  • 1 banana the riper the better
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Milk of Choice
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • dash of ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp Enjoy Life mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Lightly grease a deep mug with coconut oil or whatever you choose
  • In that mug take banana & mash it until full mashed well, then add in one egg & whisk until fully incorporated. Next add in the vanilla extract & milk of choice. Mix with a fork until full incorporated as well.
  • Next add in the dry ingredients: cinnamon, salt, chocolate chips & oat flour. Mix until it is all combined.
  • Then heat in microwave for 90 to 120 seconds. Check with tooth pick if it needs any longer depending on what mug you use. But start with 90 seconds, mine never take longer than that. However, do what is best for your microwave! Then sprinkle MORE chocolate chips on top & sliced banana & seriously GO TO TOWN! This will make your morning happy!

Notes

Carbohydrates & Sugar is high in this recipe due to naturally derived sugars as well as carbs from the banana. I have nutrition on my recipes, but it times like these that make me hate adding it. I think when we look at the nutrition we make quick judgements. This recipe still has quality ingredients, that is what matters-- not a "calorie" number.
