The Best Kombucha Cocktail
I LOVE Kombucha. I also LOVE a spring cocktail. So I am giving you the best of both worlds :) However, I know that you either love Kombucha or you hate it. So I made it to where this cocktail has the spring vibes and not an overwhelming taste of Kombucha.
Now a lot of times cocktails can be packed with calories & sugars from sweeteners and/or soda, so I of course HGHF it up. This one is sweetened with 1/2 orange, the sweetness from the kombucha & elderberry syrup. It is calling your name during these unique times in quarantine. Trust me!
Not to mention the benefits of Kombucha for your gut health! Enjoy ladies & gents!
1 cup Ginger Carrot Kombucha ( I use the Health Aide brand-- however one that you think would go well with citrus, works too!)
1 tbsp Elderberry Syrup ( I have found it at Schnucks & Total Wine)
1 shot citrus vodka
1. In a drink mixer add in 4 ice cubes, Kombucha, Elderberry Syrup, 1/2 of the orange squeezed into the mixer & shot of citrus. Now since it has Kombucha in it, the top of the mixer tends to pop off, if you don't hold on to it tightly, so I just shake lightly, making sure it gets nice & cold. Then pour over ice!
