Homemade Red Wine Vinaigrette

Did you know that when you buy things fat free or low fat a lot of times that means MORE added sugars & preservatives will be added to CREATE taste??? Think of it as they are taking something away, so they will find something else to takes its place. 9 times out of 10 it is not something that is good for you and you would have been better off with the regular fat in it to begin with. Even organic dressings can be a tease because yes the ingredients can be organic but it still could have additives. So to be safe make your own! Now, no need for the eye rolls or the I don't have time speeches :) . I totally get it-- as a single mom with a full time job, no one wants a tricky dressing. So check below for my favorite homemade salad dressing that my mom taught me how to make. We have been eating it since I can remember!
Homemade Vinaigrette Dressing:
2/3 red wine vinegar
1 1/3 cup light olive oil
3 cloves garlic minced
3 tsp (or more to taste) Dijon mustard
Salt & pepper to taste
*** Shake all ingredients together and refrigerate
