Healthy Chunky Monkey Smoothie

Who else loved to devour Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey when they were little? I know I sure did! It was one of my favorite combos, banana, chocolate & ice cream... I mean YES! So the other day when Bob's Red Mill sent me their new Chocolate Protein Powder, I took to my blender & tried it out! I love the taste of the powder & that it isn't artificial tasting, which unfortunately some powders can taste. I will say I never like to add more than 1 scoop of protein power into my smoothies, because I feel it gets too chalky, but that is up to you! So here we have a healthier, but still delicious & filling, protein smoothie that mimics that addicting Chunky Monkey ice cream :)


1 frozen banana

1 cup Coconut Milk (or milk of choice)

1/4 cup fresh spinach (optional-- great way to get those greens in!)

2 tbsp raw walnuts

1 tbsp creamy peanut butter

1 scoop chocolate protein powder ( I used Bob's Red Mill-- linked it here)


1. In high power blender add in the frozen banana first, then spinach, milk, walnuts, peanut butter & last powder. Turn on medium low for a minute, then ramp up to high. Linking my favorite blender here :) Then pour & enjoy!
