Fast Flatbreads (3 of my favorite combinations)

In our family we have been having "homemade" pizza nights for as long as I can remember. We use to get pizza dough from Whole Foods and Trader Joes and liked it just fine! However, it wasn't until we tried Home Chef that we stumbled upon using Naan as crust--- there was no turning back after that!

Garlic Naan--- perfection!

I start off each flatbread the same way. I put a good amount of olive oil in a small glass dish and 1/8 tsp minced garlic and blend it together with a fork. Then I get the pan ready on the stove with olive oil in it. Then I brush one side of the Naan with olive oil and the other side face down in the olive oil from the pan. Then I cook each side on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes until it starts getting brown and crispy. By the forth one the pan is so hot it takes less time :)

Once both sides are cooked, I place them on the Silpat non-stick baking rack and set the oven for 400 degrees. Once they are all cooked you can start building them! I put down the remaining olive oil mixture on each flatbread before I add the cheese. The base cheese is also a mozzarella mix, unless noted. I have made a bunch of different varieties these past couple months, but these three are the ones we keep craving!

*** I use the olive oil and garlic mix as the sauce for the pizzas as well, red sauce will work too, but we like this the best***

1: Balanced Diet Pizza

This one is on the far left. It has its share of vegetables, meat and cheese-- hence the name, balanced diet :) It has mushrooms, black olives and pepperonis on it, with a mix of mozzarella cheese & monterrey cheddar mix. I like to cook the mushrooms down first in the pan with a little olive oil and butter. Then season it with salt and pepper. I then add a little red wine and let the mushrooms saute in it until the mushrooms have soaked it all up. This makes the mushrooms taste amazing! I saute a whole small package of whole baby bellas so that I have some for the ceaser salad pizza too :)

2: Don't Knock it Till ya Try it!

This pizza is my favorite one out of the three! That is why there are two of them :) This pizza is the top pizza, as well as the far right. I layer the bacon ( we use Welshire's Peppered Turkey Bacon ) first on top of the mozzarella cheese, then cut up artichoke hearts, pepperoncinis and crumble goat cheese on the top. I love how this pizza has tang to it with the goat cheese and a little bit of a zing with the pepperoncinis :) It is a great mix!! It is a little out of the ordinary, but follow what the name of the pizza says!

3: I'm Being Good

Last, but for sure not least, this pizza is on the bottom of the picture.

Ceaser Topping:

-1 head of romaine lettuce, cut up

-1/4 cup white wine vinegar (can add more if you want more tang!)

-Pepper to taste

-1/2 cup mayonnaise

-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

-1/3 cup light olive oil

Mix all the wet ingredients together, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Then refrigerate until pizzas are ready and then toss the dressing with the romaine lettuce

For the pizza put the left over mushrooms you cooked for the Balanced Diet pizza and cut up cherry tomatoes on top of the mozzarella mix. Super simple! Then when the pizza comes out of the oven, you top it with the ceaser topping. It is SO yummy! Alright who am I kidding, I can't decide which one is my favorite.
