Cheddar Bacon & Chicken Chile Burgers

SUMMER means burgers! Am I right?? Here are two of my favorite classic burgers with a nice twist to make your taste buds water for these grilling beauties! We have chicken burgers for those who do not eat red meat and then the cheddar bacon for those who are carnivores like myself. If you do not eat any meat at all-- check out my latest Veggie Burger under the dinners posts-- you will be so glad you did! ( even if you eat meat you will want to check those out next!)

Cheddar Bacon Burgers:

Yields 4 Burgers


1 1/2 pounds of ground beef ( I like to do 85%/15%)

2 tbsp Worchestesr Sauce

2/3 cup Monterey Cheddar cheese

1/4 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp minced onion

1 tsp salt

Few grinds of ground pepper


1. Place meat in a medium size bowl & add all the ingredients on top of the meat and using your hands need and mix in the ingredients throughly & evenly. Then divide the meat into 4 patties then grill to your liking! I always like medium rare to medium temp :)

Chicken Chile Burgers:

Yields 5 Burgers


1 1/2 pounds ground chicken thigh

1 tbsp Worcester Sauce

1 tsp Pink Himalayan salt

Grinds of pepper

1 4oz can of Hatch green chiles (not drained)

1/2 bag of Siete Foods Nacho Tortilla chips 4oz bag

^^ If you do choose to substitute 1/2 cup bread crumbs

then add in 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder & 1/4 tsp paprika


1. If you are using the Siete Foods Nacho Tortilla chips stay on this step if you aren't move to step number 2. In your high power blender add your Siete Foods Nacho Tortilla Chips and blend until they become fine like bread crumbs.

2. Add your chicken thigh to a medium sized bowl, add Worcester, salt, chilies, salt & pepper on top of the chicken thigh then including bread crumbs of your choice-- if they are the regular bread crumbs please see above for the other ingredients to add. If Siete Chip bread crumbs you do not need to add anymore. Then using your hands mix in the ingredients throughly & evenly, next divide into 5 patties. Grill patties until no pink in the middle :)
